Power outages in 6 regions due to Russian shelling - Ministry of Energy

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine’s Energy Ministry reported this on Telegram.

"Russian occupants continue to destroy Ukraine's energy infrastructure. On the night of May 3, the enemy dropped two guided aerial bombs on one of the settlements in Sumy region. The strike severely damaged the power substation, destroying the building of the control center. There were no injuries among the employees. More than 4,000 consumers remain without electricity due to the shelling," the statement said.

It is noted that due to damage caused by Russian hostilities, some consumers in Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, Kherson, and Chernihiv regions remain without electricity.

"Power companies continue to restore electricity to consumers after the recent massive shelling. Consumers in Dnipro region have been supplied with power. Restoration works are also underway in Kherson region. Over the past day, electricity supply was restored to more than 3,800 customers in the region. The power system is operating stably, without restrictions for consumers," the Energy Ministry added.

As reported, Russian army attacked 11 regions of Ukraine over the past 24 hours, killing and wounding people.
