SPF sells Izmail Winery for UAH 200M

"On April 19, SPF held an online privatization auction for the sale of the Izmail Winery. At the auction, the value of the winery increased 11 times (from UAH 17.9 million starting price to UAH 200 million winning price). Four bidders competed for the right to privatize the plant," the statement said.

The winery's assets include a wine storage facility, a grape processing shop, bottling shops, a sparkling wine production shop, a finished goods warehouse, an exhibition complex, and administrative buildings. The total area of the premises is 27,200 square meters. The assets are in Izmail, Odesa region, as well as in Suvorove, Plavni, and Prymorske (recreation center) villages.

The winner of the auction has 20 business days to pay the price of the lot after the auction is completed. Only after the funds are in the budget will the sale and purchase agreement be signed. If the winner refuses to pay the winning amount, they will forfeit their guarantee fee of UAH 3.57 million (20% of the starting price). These funds will be credited to the state budget.

As reported, since the beginning of 2023, the lease of state property has brought UAH 218.4 million to the budget. Odesa region and Kyiv provided the most revenues (UAH 87.0 million and UAH 31.7 million, respectively).
