German state secretary introduced to Ukraine’s reconstruction projects

State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Jochen Flasbarth has been introduced to certain projects on Ukraine’s reconstruction as part of his visit to Kyiv.

The relevant statement was made by the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Ukraine on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“During his visit, State Secretary Jochen Flasbarth visited certain projects on Ukraine’s reconstruction, which are implemented by the UN International Organization for Migration (IOM) and [the German state-owned investment and development bank] KfW. As part of reconstruction efforts, we want to make cities more sustainable and resilient,” the report states.

A reminder that, on April 18, 2023, State Secretary at the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development Jochen Flasbarth started his two-day visit to Ukraine.
