A year after the end of active military operations in Chernihiv region, it was possible to restore 3,000 civilian infrastructure objects out of 12,000 that were destroyed or damaged.

"Much was done over the past year, but the enemy caused too much destruction. Twelve thousand infrastructure objects were destroyed or damaged, of which 90% of objects are civilian infrastructure, and to be more precise, 80% of objects are people’s houses. For a year, we managed to restore 3,000 such objects, another 2,000 are being restored. However, there is still a lot of work to be done," Head of Chernihiv Regional Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus said during a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine — Ukrinform on April 14.

In addition to the ruined buildings, Russian troops destroyed 36 bridges and overpasses, damaged more than 1,100 km of roads.
