Ukraine's power system operates with capacity surplus

As of the morning of April 12, the power system operates with a surplus of generating capacity and supplies small amounts of electricity to Moldova and Poland.

The relevant statement was made by the Ministry of Energy, Ukrinform says. 

"The power system operates with a surplus of generating capacity, with a margin to cover the needs of consumers throughout the country. Small volumes of electricity are supplied to Moldova and Poland," the statement said.

It is noted that the restoration of the network infrastructure damaged by enemy shelling continues. Over the past day, electricity supply has been restored to 14 thousand subscribers in Donetsk region.

As reported, on April 10, power companies in Donetsk region restored electricity supply to residents of six settlements for almost three thousand families. 105 settlements remain without electricity.
