Ukrnafta, PKN Orlen sign contract for petroleum product imports

Ukrinform
Ukrnafta PJSC has signed a contract with Poland’s PKN Orlen to import petroleum products to Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrnafta PJSC CEO Serhii Koretskyi on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukrnafta PJSC has signed a contract with Poland’s Orlen to import petroleum products to Ukraine. At the same time, Ukrnafta is holding talks about oil exports,” Koretskyi wrote.

In his words, this is important, as currently it is necessary to free up space in underground storage facilities for the newly-produced oil, as well as receive petroleum products to meet the domestic market needs directly from the producer at the most favorable price.

“Hopefully, I will soon be able to share good news in this regard. We thank our Polish partners and hope for a long-term and fruitful cooperation,” Koretskyi concluded.
