Russian forces have struck energy infrastructure facilities in the eastern, southern and western regions of Ukraine during the ongoing missile attack.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's power grid company Ukrenergo said this in a post on its Facebook page.

"Unfortunately, we have hits at several high-voltage infrastructure facilities in the eastern, western, southern regions, which led to power outages in some regions," the post said.

The company added that last night, the Russians attacked the country's energy infrastructure with drones and missiles, directing them at power plants and transmission system facilities.

"In order to minimize the possible consequences of the attack and preserve the energy system, Ukrenergo is taking the necessary preventive measures. Emergency shutdowns are being applied," the company added.

On February 10, Russia launched its 14th terrorist missile attack on Ukraine's energy system.
