Kuleba at talks with Dutch counterpart Hoekstra brings up issue of F-16s

Minister for Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba of Ukraine during a call with Wopke Hoekstra discussed among other things the issue of F-16 fighter jets Ukraine wants western partners to supply.

That’s according to Kuleba’s tweet, seen by Ukrinform.

“I spoke to Wopke Hoekstra to coordinate our international steps as Russia's full-scale invasion nears its one-year mark. I thanked for the latest decision on tanks. I also raised the issue of F-16s. We continue our dialogue with the Netherlands and others regarding combat aircraft,” the top diplomat wrote.

As reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine in his address to British MPs in Westminster Hall called on Great Britain and the international community in general to create a warplane coalition to provide Ukraine with combat aircraft to help the nation defend against Russia.
