The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine is considering the possibility of building a decentralized energy system, in particular through constructing mini-power plants and smaller generation facilities, which will become less vulnerable to Russian strikes.

This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal during a government meeting on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian attacks are pushing us towards a fundamental reform – the construction of a decentralized power system. Then it will be less vulnerable to enemy attacks. We are talking about the creation of mini-power plants and small generation facilities, integrated into the existing power system," the head of the government said.
