OECD Working Group on Bribery green-lights Ukraine’s membership

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) Working Group on Bribery in International Business Transactions has voted in favor of Ukraine’s membership in the Group.
The relevant statement was made by Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The OECD Working Group on Bribery in International Business Transactions has green-lit and voted in favor of Ukraine’s membership in the Group. Now we are waiting for this decision to be finalized by the External Relations Committee,” Yermak wrote.
In his words, this decision paves the way for Ukraine to the highest anti-corruption standard in the world and to the team of the most successful countries in terms of anti-corruption efforts.
