Russian troops fire half a hundred shells at Nikopol district

"The shelling of Nikopol district does not abate... The Russians were firing heavy artillery at Nikopol town, Chervonohryhorivka and Marhanets communities all night long. Almost 50 enemy shells slammed into peaceful towns and villages," Valentyn Reznichenko, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

No casualties were reported.

"In Nikopol, more than 10 private houses, outbuildings, gas pipelines, and power lines were damaged. In Chervonohryhorivka community, a line that powered a pumping station of the local water supply company was cut off. More than 9,000 families from several villages and towns were left without water supply. Energy workers have already started eliminating consequences. In Marhanets community, private houses and a gas pipeline were damaged," Reznichenko added.

As reported, on December 5, the Russian troops launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. Residential buildings and critical infrastructure facilities in Vinnytsia, Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa and other regions were damaged.
