Enemy missiles damage gas production infrastructure in eastern Ukraine

Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov confirmed that the Russian aggressor launched a massive shelling and caused damage to the gas production infrastructure of JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya in the east of Ukraine today, November 17.

This is said in a statement released by the press service of Naftogaz.

“We are currently aware of several destroyed facilities, other ones have suffered damage of varying degrees. JSC Ukrgasvydobuvannya experts have promptly arrived at the damaged facilities. They are currently evaluating the consequences and scale of the attack. Also, the information on casualties is being updated,” Chernyshov said.

As reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal in his speech at Kyiv International Economic Forum stated that Russia was carrying out strikes on gas production facilities across Ukraine and on the Southern Machine-Building Plant Plant in Dnipro.
