The Ukrainian Finance Ministry expects to raise $7.8 billion from international partners before the end of 2022.

The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Finance Minister Serhii Marchenko during a briefing at Ukraine Media Center, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In November, the receipts of about $4.8 billion are expected. The external funding for December is about $3 billion,” Marchenko told.

In his words, such level of financing would look rather positive in September-October. But, as we are speaking of the last months of the year, when expenditures are nearly the highest, the situation is more complicated.

“We are now looking for any opportunity to pass through November and December smoothly, and make all the necessary expenditures,” Marchenko noted.

A reminder that, on November 9, 2022, the European Commission proposed a support package for Ukraine of up to EUR 18 billion for 2023.
