Naftogaz expects to expand cooperation with British energy companies

On November 9, 2022, Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov met with United Kingdom Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons and discussed the expansion of cooperation with the British companies doing business in the oil and gas sector.
The relevant statement was made by Naftogaz CEO Oleksiy Chernyshov on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Chernyshov, the key issues raised at the meeting were the deepening of cooperation, passing through the heating season and the purchase of natural gas.
“We have agreed to expand contacts with British oil and gas companies to stabilize the situation in the energy sector and develop gas production,” Chernyshov noted.
Additionally, Chernyshov and Simmons discussed Naftogaz’s operating activity and the importance of appointing the company’s Supervisory Board to ensure healthy corporate management.
