The operation of the "grain corridor" has been resumed in full, therefore grain transportation will proceed as usual.

President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Türkiye said this today, speaking at a meeting of the parliamentary group of the Justice and Development Party, Ukrinform reports.

“The Grain Corridor has been reopened as it was before," Erdogan said.

According to the Turkish leader, this was reported by the Russian defense ministry.

"Russian Defense Minister Shoigu called National Defense Minister Akar, saying that the transportation of grain will continue as before, starting 12:00 today," Erdogan said.

The president of Türkiye also announced a phone call with President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, which should take place later today.

As reported by Ukrinform, on October 29, the Russian Federation said it was suspending participation in the Black Sea Grain Initiative, justifying its decision with the drone attack on a warship in Sevastopol Bay, for which it blamed Ukraine and Great Britain.

Despite Russia's demarche, 12 bulkers carrying grain left Ukrainian ports the day before. On Tuesday, the UN announced that there will be no movement of vessels along the "grain corridor" on November 2. On Thursday, November 3, eight ships carrying agricultural products will set off along the "grain corridor" in the Black Sea.
