Tougher power supply caps in parts of Ukraine amid continued Russian strikes on energy infrastructure
That’s according to the Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Kyrylo Tymoshenko, who announced the news via Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"In order to prevent a complete blackout in the central region, energy companies are forced to introduce tougher restrictions. The level of the necessary power supply restriction in Kyiv, as well as the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr regions, will be regulated depending on the current situation in the power system," he noted.
Tymoshenko recalled that overnight Thursday, Russian terrorists once again attacked energy infrastructure facilities, as a result of which the equipment was damaged servicing the central region of Ukraine.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, citing data from the regional military administrations on the situation in the regions as of October 27, the enemy last night attacked one of the communities in Kyiv region where an infrastructure facility was hit several times.
Ukrenergo’s dispatch center ordered that the regional power distribution companies limit power consumption in Kyiv, as well as the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, and Zhytomyr regions.
