U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink and Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov have discussed the issue of establishing transport corridors through the Black Sea to export Ukrainian grain.

The ambassador wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“Valuable discussion with Infrastructure Minister Kubrakov on negotiations with UN and Turkey on establishing grain transport corridors through the Black Sea. Ukraine is ready to export grain to countries in need; the United States continues engaging with partners to provide safe passage for grain,” Brink wrote.

As reported, on July 13, a meeting between the military delegations of the defense ministries of Turkey, Ukraine and Russia, as well as the UN delegation, to discuss the export of grain from Ukraine through the Black Sea ended in Istanbul. An agreement was reached on technical issues regarding grain exports from Ukraine through the Black Sea, such as the establishment of a coordination center in Istanbul.
