Shmyhal calls on Korean businesses withdrawing from Russia to move production to Ukraine

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal, during a speech at the Asian Leadership Conference in Seoul, called on Korean businesses that have pulled out of the Russian market to move their production capacities to Ukraine.

Shmyhal spoke of his address on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"At one time, the Republic of Korea managed to rise from the ashes of war, including thanks to international aid. Therefore, we invite Korean companies to join the reconstruction of Ukraine, share their experience, and implement various projects in the field of infrastructure, construction, industrial transformation, health care, hi-tech development, e-governance, etc.,” Shmyhal said.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, in June, the chief of the Ukrainian President's Office, Andriy Yermak, offered the Republic of Korea to join a patronage project to contribute to the reconstruction of regions or cities affected by Russian invasion.
