Over three weeks since the United24 fundraising platform was launched, more than $43.6 million has been collected to support Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made in a press release provided by the United24 team, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“In general, over three weeks since the United24 was launched, a total of $43,697,282 has been raised,” the report states.

In particular, a total of UAH 30,215,400 ($1,032,972) was credited to the account of the Ukrainian Health Ministry, of which UAH 26.5 million was transferred to purchase 35 portable ventilators.

According to the United24 team, the new equipment will be delivered to emergency medical care centers in such regions as Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Cherkasy, Chernihiv and Poltava.

The first earmarked fundraising initiative as part the campaign will take place during the telethon Save Ukraine – #StopWar on May 29, 2022, the United24 team noted. All donations will be credited to the account of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU), assigned to the Ukrainian Health Ministry. The funds raised will be used to purchase the surgical C-arm X-ray equipment, which is useful when locating shrapnel wounds.

A reminder that, on May 5, 2022, during a visit to Warsaw, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal presented the United24 platform to international partners and donors.

On May 17, 2022, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree on the initiative to establish the national brand United24 to unite the efforts of international partners in support of Ukraine.
