The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal on Twitter, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Ukraine and Moldova will renew the Free Trade Agreement. Despite the war, we are implementing agreements of 2021,” Shmyhal wrote.

In his words, the draft law on the application of Pan-Euro-Mediterranean rules of origin has already been submitted to Parliament.

A reminder that, on August 18, 2021, the Ukrainian government endorsed a draft protocol between the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and the Government of the Republic of Moldova on amendments to the Ukraine-Moldova FTA agreement, dated November 13, 2003.
