Russian troops have shelled the city of Kharkiv with artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems three times over the past day.

The relevant statement was made by Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Head Oleh Syniehubov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Over the past day, Russians have launched three strikes on Kharkiv with artillery and multiple rocket launcher systems. Such districts and Saltivka, Piatykhatky and the airport area came under fire. Thanks to the efforts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which are liberating settlements in Kharkiv Region from Russian occupiers, the intensity of enemy strikes has lowered,” Syniehubov wrote.

Rescuers extinguished 15 fires, which had been caused by Russia’s shelling of Kharkiv’s Nemyshlianskyi District, Izium District, Kharkiv District and Chuhuiv District. Over the past day, one person has been injured in Balakliia District.

“It is necessary to stay alert. Just a few hours ago, Russian occupiers again shelled the Derhachi community. One person was injured,” Syniehubov noted, posting relevant photographs.

A reminder that, on February 24, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin initiated a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, starting a war. Russian troops are shelling and destroying the key infrastructure facilities, launching air and missile strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages, torturing and murdering civilians.
