Energoatom has said that the sum includes the value of everything destroyed by Russian invaders during the storming of the ZNPP. That includes the building of the Training Center that was damaged beyond repair, the Atomenergomash facility hit by the Russian convoy, and the equipment belonging to the Atomremontservis, stored on the NPP premises at the time of the attack.

As reported earlier, Russian troops seized control of Europe’s largest nuclear power plant in Enerhodar, Zaporizhia Region, on the night of March 4. Invaders are forcing the staff to coordinate with them their operational decisions. In addition, Russia’s Rosatom officials arrived at ZNPP.

According to multiple reports, during the occupation of the facility, the Russians set off ammunition on the plant’s premises.

Ukraine’s Energy Minister German Galushchenko and the Energoatom administration have repeatedly appealed to the international community, stressing that the Russian forces’ very presence at the nuclear facility is unacceptable.
