The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision to increase the size of the reserve fund by UAH 73.3 billion to meet the key needs of the Ukrainian army and economy.

"These funds will be redistributed from other budget programs and will be used primarily to meet the key needs of our army and economy. ‘Everything for the front is everything for victory’ is a new state policy that will help us end the war faster," Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said, the Government portal informs.

The PM also noted that a new program to support internally displaced persons has been launched on April 1. The applications are being accepted from businesses that hire IDPs.

"UAH 6,500 will be paid for each new employee. People will be able to get these funds by finding jobs in those businesses that are ready to work under martial law," Shmyhal added.

As reported, the Ministry of Finance is ready to expand preferential lending to entrepreneurs under the updated state program "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" given the needs of domestic businesses.
