State-owned Odesavynprom wine producer put up for sale

The State Property Fund is set to sell the government-run Odesavynprom wine production company, with the auction scheduled for September 14, at a starting price of UAH 65.3 million (US$2.45 million).

That’s according to the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Ukrinform reports.

"The Odesavynprom property complex has been put up for privatization auction on September 14. The starting price of the asset is UAH 65.3 million," the statement said.

The winner of the transparent bidding will receive ownership, including production buildings, warehouses for manufactured products, and cellars for wine processing and storage. The real estate property of the enterprise with a total area of ​​over 22,000 square meters is located in Odesa’s Frantsuzskyi Boulevard, Nalivna, and Otamana Holovatoho Streets.

As of today, Odesavynprom's facilities are being leased by a private company.

As reported earlier, in 2020-2021, the state budget is expected to receive about UAH 1.5 billion (over $56 million) from the sale of liquor and wine-producing companies.
