SkyUp Airlines resumes flights to Zanzibar

The Ukrainian low-cost carrier SkyUp Airlines will again open a flight program from Kyiv to the island of Zanzibar (Tanzania) from October 23, 2021, the airline’s press service reports.

In particular, Kyiv-Zanzibar-Kyiv flights will be operated twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and from the beginning of 2022 the number of flights will increase to four per week.

Tickets are already available on skyup.aero.

To visit Zanzibar, Ukrainians need a visa. It can be issued upon arrival in the country at the airport. The visa is valid for 90 days.

Travelers are now required to present a negative PCR test taken no more than 72 hours before crossing the border. In addition, tourists must complete the online form no later than 24 hours before crossing the border.

As Ukrinform reported, SkyUp will start operating flights from Kyiv to France, Spain, and Italy in August.
