Zelensky signs law on stimulating digital economy

President Volodymyr Zelensky has signed the Law of Ukraine “On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine,” according to his press service.

The law is intended to create favorable conditions for conducting innovative business in Ukraine, developing digital infrastructure, attracting investment and talented specialists.

The document provides for the creation of the Diia City special legal and tax regime for the IT industry.

As Ukrinform reported, on July 15, 2021, the Verkhovna Rada adopted the Law of Ukraine “On Stimulating the Development of the Digital Economy in Ukraine.”

On July 22, the law was signed by Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Razumkov.
