Ukrainian ambassador, Kyrgyz FM discuss ways to increase trade between countries

During the meeting, a number of topical issues of bilateral cooperation of mutual interest were discussed.

In particular, they discussed ways to increase trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian, and investment cooperation, implementation of joint projects in various fields, interaction within international and regional organizations, as well as this year's first in the history of two independent countries political consultations between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and Kyrgyzstan and the regular meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Ukrainian Commission on Cooperation.

The parties expressed mutual interest in restoring direct flights between Kyiv and Bishkek. They also exchanged views on next year’s celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Ukraine and the Kyrgyz Republic.
