Ukraine's international reserves grew to $28.36B in June - NBU

In June 2021, Ukraine's international reserves grew by 2% - to $28.358 billion (in equivalent), according to the press service of the National Bank of Ukraine (NBU).

“As of July 1, 2021, Ukraine's international reserves amounted to $28,357.7 million (in equivalent) according to preliminary data. In June, Ukraine’s reserves grew by 2% due to foreign exchange earnings in favor of the government and interventions of the National Bank, which offset the repayment of external and internal liabilities of the state," reads the report.

As reported by Ukrinform, Ukraine's international reserves decreased by 0.6% in May and amounted to $27.8399 billion as of June 1 (in equivalent). As of January 1, 2021, Ukraine's international amounted to $29.133 billion (in equivalent).
