Ukrzaliznytsia transfers UAH 750M of dividends for 2019 to state budget

“Ukrzaliznytsia always fulfills its obligations to the shareholder – the state. In 2020, the government’s decision postponed the company's payment of dividends for 2019. Due to the implementation of the anti-crisis plan, we have now managed to stabilize the company and gradually move to profitable results. Dividends were paid in full and within the timeframe stipulated by the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers,” Acting Chairman of the Board of Ukrzaliznytsia Ivan Yuryk said.

Thus, based on the results of work in 2019, UAH 750 million was transferred to the state budget, which is 30% of net profit. In addition, 70% of net profit (over UAH 1.7 billion) was directed to cover losses of previous years.

As reported, Ukrzaliznytsia transferred almost UAH 11.9 billion in taxes to the state budget in 2019.
