Ukraine is implementing 17 projects in the transport sector in cooperation with international financial institutions (IFIs).

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this during the online event "Investment Climate in Post-Pandemic Ukraine", Ukrinform reports with reference to the Government portal.

"In cooperation with international financial institutions, 17 joint projects are being implemented in Ukraine, which are aimed at increasing railway capacity, improving road safety and comfort, building airports, modernizing Ukraine's air navigation system, etc.," Shmyhal said.

He noted that the government has approved a list of priority investment projects until 2023, of which 40% are large-scale projects in the field of infrastructure and transport.

According to the Prime Minister, one of the tools to attract additional investment in Ukraine is a public-private partnership. In particular, with the support of international financial institutions, public-private partnership projects have been successfully implemented at the Kherson and Olvia seaports.
