Ukrainian entrepreneurs to visit Iraq in search of new trade opportunities

The meeting was held on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

At the initiative of Kuleba, a delegation of Ukrainian entrepreneurs will visit Iraq to find new trade opportunities between the countries.

"In this context, the Minister confirmed that Ukraine would remain a reliable guarantor of food security of Iraq as an important trading partner of our country in the Middle East," the statement reads.

The Ukrainian foreign minister also expressed support for Iraq's efforts in the fight against terrorism. The parties paid special attention to the issue of protection of the rights of Ukrainian citizens residing in Iraq.

In addition, Kuleba expressed readiness to cooperate to increase the number of Iraqi students in the Ukrainian educational institutions.
