"The Minister informed the diplomats about the strategic priorities of the Ministry. Halushchenko outlined as the main tasks reorganization of the electricity market, implementation of the European Green Deal, integration of the Ukrainian energy system into ENTSO-E, reorganization of the coal industry as one of the important tools for decarbonization of the Ukrainian energy sector, and other steps aimed at strengthening Ukraine's energy security," the Government portal informs.
The parties agreed to continue a fruitful dialogue and further cooperation.
The meeting was attended by Nicolas Harrocks (UK), Larisa Galadza (Canada), Kristina Kvien (USA), Etienne de Poncins (France), Kazuya Otsuka (Japan), and Matti Maasikas (EU).
As reported, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that synchronization with the ENTSO-E would open additional prospects for the development of green energy in Ukraine.
