Foreign Ministries of Ukraine and Czech Republic open forum of experts
This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
“Together with Aleš Chmelař, we opened the Ukrainian-Czech Forum of Experts, an important tool for dialogue at the level of civil society. Our countries are united by a strong society, which is the driving force behind democratic transformations, which is confirmed by the Velvet Revolution in the Czech Republic and the Revolution of Dignity in Ukraine," Bodnar said.
For his part, Chmelař thanked Ukraine for its solidarity during the recent Czech-Russian crisis and assured of the Czech Republic's continued support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, the European and Euro-Atlantic course of our state.
The diplomats agreed that the Forum’s activities contribute to the formation of new ideas for the development of cooperation between Ukraine and the Czech Republic in political, security, trade and other areas of mutual interest.
The Ukrainian-Czech Forum of Experts operates on the basis of a memorandum between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and the Czech Republic, signed on May 3, 2019.
As Ukrinform reported, on Tuesday, May 25, Deputy Minister of Economy of Ukraine Taras Kachka said that Ukrainian business seeks to deepen ties with Czech companies in industry and other sectors of the economy.
