Ukrtransnafta increased oil transportation in April

In particular, the volume of oil transit operations through the territory of Ukraine in April 2021 grew by 18.4%, to 889 thousand tonnes. The increase in oil transit operations was due to the transportation of 89 thousand tonnes of oil for the needs of Mozyr Oil Refinery (Republic of Belarus).

At the same time, the volume of oil transportation to Ukraine’s refineries decreased by 16.6%, to 204 thousand tonnes

In January-April 2021, Ukrtransnafta transported 4.5 million tonnes of oil, which is 9.1% less than in the relevant period last year.

In particular, the volume of oil transportation for Ukrainian refineries in January-April 2021 amounted to 730 thousand tonnes (down 12.7% from 2020), and transit - 3.8 million tonnes (down 8.3% from 2020), of which 360 thousand tonnes were transported for the needs of Belarus.

As Ukrinform reported, the total volume of transported oil amounted to 15.7 million tonnes in 2020, which is 1.5% more than in 2019.
