Ukraine to issue Eurobonds worth $1.25B – Finance Ministry

On April 27, Ukraine announced the pricing of a new issue of Eurobonds worth $1.25 billion, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Finance Ministry’s press service.

"Ukraine today announced the pricing of a new issue of Eurobonds in the amount of $1,250,000,000, maturing in 2029," reads the report.

According to the pricing results, the yield on Eurobonds is set at 6.875% per annum. The new issue is expected to be rated as "B" by Standard & Poor's and "B" by Fitch. BNP Paribas, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs International and J.P. Morgan were lead managers of the transaction.

Settlements on the new issue are scheduled for April 30, 2021. The funds raised from the placement of this issue of Eurobonds will be used for general budgetary purposes.
