The Ukrainian low-cost carrier SkyUp Airlines launched regular flights on the Kyiv-Tirana route on April 25, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Albania reports.

"On April 25, Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Albania Volodymyr Shkurov took part in a solemn meeting of 150 tourists of the first Kyiv-Tirana flight operated by SkyUp Airlines," the statement reads.

To visit Albania, tourists are not required to provide a negative PCR test or self-isolate. Health checks are carried out selectively at border crossing points.

At the same time, in a pandemic, airlines are introducing their own conditions and rules for staying on board. In this regard, it is recommended to clarify the requirements of carriers for PCR test for COVID-19 before flying to Albania.
