Naftogaz sets fixed annual tariff for households

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has announced the transfer of customers to a new fixed rate annual gas tariff plan, Ukrinform reports with reference to the company’s press service.
The price of gas from Naftogaz Group, which the company sets from May 1, 2021 to April 30, 2022, will total UAH 7.96 per cubic meter with VAT, excluding the cost of distribution (delivery).
"The company offered its customers the best price for gas among suppliers on the market," Naftogaz said.
According to the company, the fixed rate tariff plan does not provide for any subscriptions. As before, customers only have to pay for the gas consumed at a fixed price by the 25th of each month. The new tariff plan is available for recipients of benefits and subsidies.
As reported, the National Commission for State Regulation of Energy and Public Utilities approved a resolution introducing annual gas tariffs from May 1, 2021.
