National Investment Fund to help improve investment image of state - Shmyhal

According to the Government portal, Minister of Economic, Trade and Agriculture Development Ihor Petrashko, representatives of the Finance Ministry, Energy Ministry, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, as well as representatives of the Presidential Office took part in the discussion of functioning of the Fund.

The Prime Minister heard proposals on the setting up of the National Investment Fund and instructed the Ministry of Economic, Trade and Agriculture Development to prepare and submit to the Cabinet of Ministers a relevant draft resolution.

"The creation of the National Investment Fund will be another step towards improving the investment image of our country. The Fund will help attract new investors to the economy and provide an opportunity to implement new important projects for Ukraine," said Shmyhal.

As Ukrinform reported, President Volodymyr Zelensky instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to take measures to establish the National Investment Fund. This is stipulated in decree No.103/2021 of March 19, published on the President's website.
