Gas price in April to remain the same – Naftogaz

In April, the gas price for customers receiving gas from NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine as the supplier of last resort will remain at UAH 6.99 per cubic meter, Ukrinform reports referring to the company’s website.
"In April, the gas price for customers of the last resort supplier is UAH 6.99 per cubic meter with VAT, excluding distribution (delivery) costs," reads the report.
As Ukrinform reported, Naftogaz served 13% of households in Ukraine as of the end of March. The company supplies gas to 1.7 million Ukrainians, including customers of the last resort supplier.
If the consumer is left without a supplier of natural gas due to force majeure (for example, bankruptcy), the supplier of last resort, which is currently represented by NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, will supply gas within 60 calendar days until the customer finds a new supplier natural gas.
