Official dialogue on Ukraine's involvement in European Green Deal to begin in late April
"We have done a lot of analytical work. Based on its results, an official dialogue on Ukraine's involvement in the European Green Deal will begin in late April," Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Olha Stefanishyna said at an online briefing on Tuesday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
She informed that this dialogue would touch upon the instruments of budgetary financial planning in both Ukraine and the EU, the regulatory issues related to trade, as well as Ukraine's involvement in alliances that will enable Ukrainian entrepreneurs, government officials, heads of relevant bodies and experts to join the formation of relevant policies on the continent.
According to Stefanishyna, Ukraine has already joined the European Raw Materials Alliance, the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance and the European Battery Alliance in recent months.
The Vice PM thanked domestic business for its proactive position in this area.
Ukraine is recognized as one of the priority countries for hydrogen economy development due to the active cooperation between business and government, she noted.
"We are also actively negotiating initiatives within the Battery Alliance," the official said.
According to Stefanishyna, these are very important decisions that help build confidence, link Ukraine with the European Union and move towards integration into the internal market of the European Union.
