Economy Ministry expects Ukraine to attract $5B in investments this year

The Ukrainian Ministry for Economic, Trade and Agriculture Development expects that Ukraine will attract $5 billion in investments in 2021.
Deputy Minister for Economic, Trade and Agriculture Development Iryna Novikova stated this during the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Small and Medium Business and State”, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“This year should be more active in terms of investment, we see interest. We have an optimistic hope for 5 billion," said Novikova.
As Ukrinform reported, the total amount of accumulated foreign direct investment in Ukraine is $49 billion.
