The President's Office develops a package of measures that would stimulate economic growth in 2021-2022.

"2020 was not an easy year. Now we make every effort to develop a package of measures for 2021-2022 to stimulate economic growth," Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko said during the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Small and Medium-Sized Business and the State", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

She noted that "Affordable Loans 5-7-9%" program is important, and the Government continues to work and improve it so that as many entrepreneurs as possible can use it.

"More than 10,000 loans totaling over UAH 25 billion have already been issued within it. This year, we have opportunities to expand this program, and we will focus primarily on those who have the most difficult access to credit resources, namely microbusiness," Svyrydenko said.

According to her, the partial unemployment program will also be modified.

"We will focus on the ‘red zone’ and on those types of economic activity that have suffered from quarantine measures the most," the official said.

Deputy Head of the President’s Office added that despite the fact that 2020 was quite difficult for the entire world economy, Ukraine was more successful compared to other countries as its last year's economic decline was 4.2%.
