New Ukrainian carrier Bees Airline to perform first flight on March 18

The new Ukrainian low-cost carrier Bees Airline has received an operator certificate and will perform its first flight on March 18, the Ukrainian State Air Traffic Services Enterprise (UkSATSE) wrote on Facebook.

"The new Ukrainian air carrier Bees Airline received an operator certificate from the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. The first flight on the Kyiv-Sharm El Sheikh-Kyiv route is scheduled for March 18. Flights from Kyiv to another Egyptian resort of Marsa Alam will be launched from March 19. And starting from April, the airline plans to operate flights to Kenya," the statement reads.

Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) will be the carrier's base airport.

Bees Airline was registered at the end of 2019 and was going through the certification process at the State Aviation Administration of Ukraine. Initially, it is planned to perform charter flights and later regular flights will be added to the route network.
