Total debts to miners reach UAH 1.75B - Volynets

The total amount of salary debts to miners in Ukraine have reached UAH 1.75 billion, according Mykhailo Volynets, chairman of the Independent Trade Union of Miners of Ukraine.
In a post on his Facebook page, he wrote that the miners now intend to come to Kyiv with protests if the authorities do not start repaying salary debts.
As reported, in February 2021, Ukrainian mining enterprises produced 2,555,628 tonnes of coal, which is 119% of the production plan.
