Ukraine, Turkey working to finalize free trade agreement – Shmyhal

Ukraine and Turkey are working to finalize a free trade agreement, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said.

He said this during a press conference dedicated to the results of the year of the government's work under his chairmanship, an Ukrinform correspondent reports

"Literally last and this week, the free trade agreement with Turkey is being finalized," the head of the government said.

He also recalled that Ukraine is negotiating with Canada to expand the free trade agreement.

Shmyhal stressed that Ukraine will continue to integrate with Europe through synchronized energy grids, open airspace, an industrial visa-free regime, and a full comprehensive free trade area.

The prime minister expressed confidence that Europe will more and more open its markets to Ukrainian producers.
