State budget’s general fund received UAH 67B in February – Finance Ministry

In particular, revenues from the payments controlled by the State Tax Service amounted to UAH 37.7 billion, or 103.2% the target for February.

In January-February 2021, the general fund of the state budget received UAH 124.9 billion, which is 104.0% of the target for the two months.

According to data provided by the State Treasury Service, in January-February 2021, expenditures on the general fund of the state budget amounted to UAH 154.2 billion, or 90.7% of the target for the reporting period. Financing of social expenditures, defense expenditures, debt service and subventions, and subsidies to local budgets were fully funded in line with the schedule.

In January-February 2021, the deficit of the state budget amounted to UAH 28.3 billion, with the general fund’s target totaling UAH 49.3 billion for the two months.

Actual government borrowings to the general fund of the state budget amounted to UAH 74.3 billion in January-February 2021, or 68.6% of the target.

A total of UAH 74.3 billion was raised from the placement of domestic loan bonds, including UAH 14.0 billion in foreign currency (USD 416.8 million and EUR 70.5 million).

At the same time, UAH 51.5 billion was paid to repay public debt (97.9% of the target) and UAH 13.8 billion was paid to service public debt (92.2% of the target).

As reported by Ukrinform, revenues to the consolidated budget amounted to UAH 848 billion in 2020, which is UAH 115 billion more than in 2019.
