According to the strategy, electricity for the consumer should appear in Naftogaz's product portfolio in 2022. Under the principle of the natural gas retail market, Naftogaz intends to determine the understanding of the customer profile of the retail electricity market.
"We are waiting for a reform in the segment of the electricity market. We need it because we want to sell not only gas but also electricity to household consumers," Naftogaz CEO Andriy Kobolyev said.
According to him, it is planned to develop such a pricing strategy so that the customer can profitably change the provider of this service and choose Naftogaz as a partner in providing energy supply services. In 2023, the company promises to offer the best competitive offer on the market.
