Infrastructure Ministry planning to rebuild 20,000 km of major roads by 2023

The Infrastructure Ministry of Ukraine is planning to rebuild 20,000 kilometers of public roads by 2023.

Infrastructure Minister Vladyslav Kryklii said this during the program Zdorova Polityka (Healthy Politics), when asked about plans on road construction for the current year, Ukrinform reports.

"This year we will start from the real funding, which will be projected and we plan ambitious figures… But the goal is to rebuild 20,000 kilometers of public roads by 2023 inclusive,” said Kryklii.

As reported by Ukrinform, the Cabinet of Ministers approved a list of roads of national importance to be reconstructed in 2021.
