Fedorov: Digital economy is important component of National Economic Strategy until 2030

"The digital economy is an important vector of the economic strategy until 2030. For the population, it means full access to digital infrastructure, unhindered access to quality public and social services and, what is very important to us, destruction of the bureaucratic barrier we have today," Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov said during the discussion of the draft National Economic Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 entitled "Digital Economy and Information and Communications Technology (ICT)", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

He noted that one of the priorities of the Digital Transformation Ministry is the development of small and medium-sized enterprises in Ukraine and it is the digital economy that opens up new opportunities and incentives for various areas of domestic business.

Fedorov added that currently the Ministry of Digital Transformation has almost all tools to develop the digital economy in the country. "We have understanding of what we should do, we have organizational capacity, we have budget, we have digital transformation officers in each area," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

As reported, the National Economic Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 is being drafted by a working group of the Cabinet of Ministers on the platform of the Center for Economic Recovery. Discussions on the draft National Economic Strategy of Ukraine until 2030 began on January 22 and will last until February 10.
