Great Construction program: 12 social facilities built and reconstructed in Kherson region last year

"In Kherson region, 12 social facilities have been built, repaired and reconstructed. The construction of four kindergartens, schools and sports facilities has been completed, and they are already receiving students and visitors. Therefore, Kherson region has fully completed the scope of work planned for 2020 within the framework of the president's Great Construction program," the report reads.

According to the report, UAH 120.6 million was allocated for the implementation of 12 projects, including UAH 89.9 million from the State Regional Development Fund and UAH 30.7 million from local government budgets.

As a reminder, the Great Construction national program was initiated by President Volodymyr Zelensky and launched in March 2020. The goal of the program is to build the necessary infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine. In 2020, within the framework of the Great Construction program, 114 schools, 100 kindergartens, 101 sports facilities were built, and 3,900 km of principal roads were repaired in the country.
